President Kennedy visits with baseball great Stan Musial of the
St. Louis Cardinals in the Oval Office on July 11, 1962. The previous
day, JFK threw out the first pitch at the All-Star Game at D.C. Stadium
in Washington. In that game, Musial had a pinch-hit single in the
sixth inning. The National League beat the American League, 3-1.
